What is Checking Results?
Checking results is the act of comparing your Lottery Sambad ticket number against the officially drawn winning numbers for a specific draw and date. Every Lottery Sambad ticket carries a series letter and a six-digit number, for example, 25B 123456, and a valid win requires both the series and the digits to match exactly in the published prize list.
Lottery Sambad conducts three draws daily: the Morning draw at 11:55 AM, the Day draw at 4:00 PM, and the Evening draw at 8:00 PM IST. Each draw produces an independent result, so you must check the result that corresponds to the specific draw printed on your ticket, checking the wrong draw's result will show no match even on a winning ticket.
Results published on lottery-sambad-result.org are sourced from official Nagaland State Lotteries announcements. This distinguishes verified checking from relying on unverified screenshots or rumours circulating on social media, which frequently contain errors or relate to the wrong draw date.
How Checking Results Works
Start by identifying the draw name and date printed on your ticket, then open the matching result on this site. Select Morning, Day, or Evening from the draw menu and confirm the date shown on the result page matches your ticket date exactly. Results are date-stamped to prevent accidental cross-date comparisons.
Scan the prize tiers from First Prize downward. For the top three prize tiers, each winning entry lists a full series-and-number combination, your series letter must match in addition to the digits. For lower tiers such as Fourth and Fifth Prize, Lottery Sambad publishes only the last three or four digits and awards the prize across all series, so any ticket ending in those digits qualifies regardless of series letter.
If your ticket matches any tier, keep it unaltered and present it at an authorised claim centre within the redemption window, typically 30 days for smaller prizes and up to 90 days for major prizes under Nagaland State Lotteries rules. Never sign or modify the ticket before submission.
Checking Results Safety and Timing
Official results are uploaded to lottery-sambad-result.org within minutes of each draw closing, expect Morning results by 12:05 PM, Day results by 4:10 PM, and Evening results by 8:10 PM IST. Checking before these windows may return yesterday's result; always confirm the timestamp displayed at the top of the result table before reading prize numbers.
Safety during result checking means using only official or directly sourced result pages. Fraudulent Lottery Sambad result images are routinely shared on WhatsApp and Telegram with altered numbers. Cross-reference any result you see on social media against the date-stamped PDF published by Nagaland State Lotteries or the verified data on this site before drawing any conclusions.
Never pay anyone to "confirm" your winning status or to process a claim on your behalf in exchange for an upfront fee. Legitimate Lottery Sambad claims require no advance payment, prize money is disbursed only after the original physical ticket is verified by an authorised agent or government lottery office in Nagaland.
